About Us

Born out of an apprenticeship with a family lineage of beekeepers and a shared passion for natural wellness, Beewell Apiary is a heartfelt collaboration between husband and wife duo Julian Shavers, a passionate beekeeper, and Mireille Désilets, a holistic nutritionist. Striving to serve the wellness of both the bees that we care for and the customers that we serve, our mission is to produce honey and natural wellness products in a way that is optimally health promoting for both our bees and our community. This is why the bees are kept in an area that is free from pesticides and commercial crops, and are instead situated amongst fields of natural wild flowers where their food source is as pure and natural as it gets. It is also why the honey is raw and unpasteurized, the beeswax candles are free of synthetic scents and colorants, and all of the wellness products we create utilize the purest ingredients from nature.

Nestled at the edge of Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba, the beehives from which our honey flows are managed holistically, with utmost care, and we strive to keep our business as sustainable as possible. From hive to home, our goal is to ensure that our honey has not only a positive impact on our customers' wellbeing, but also on that of the bees and the environment that sustains us all.
